Cat Behavior
Cats are unique. They are not small dogs. Cats are not just predators, they are prey to larger species. They hide all signs of weakness and sickess for survival. We, as their humans, must pay close attention for subtle signs of sickness. These are red flags:
- Not using a litter box properly, even once.
- Changes in interaction with people or other pets,
- Changes in activity, like jumping, climbing or toy playing,
- Changes in sleeping habit,
- Changes in water and food comsumption,
- Unexplained weight loss or gain,
- Changes in grooming,
- Signs of stress,
- Changes in vocalization,
- Bad Breath.
If you notrice any of the above issues it is important to contact us. These "undesireable" behaviors can very quickly become habit and start to appear "normal".
