Our Products
There are many fine veterinary products. One product does not fit all patients. The most common products your pet needs are flea and heartworm preventatives. We stock and proudly recommend Heartgard Plus, Trifexis, Comfortis and Advantage flea and heartworm preventatives.
Dogs
Comfortis is a dermatologist recommended fast acting product to protect your dog from fleas. It starts killing fleas within 30 minutes and kills 100% of the fleas on a dog within 4 hours. It is a chewable tablet. Comfortis requires a prescription.
Heartgard Plus is a once a month chewable heartworm preventative which also controls hookworms and roundworms. Heartgard Plus requires a prescription.
Trifexis is combination of Comfortis, heartworm and intestinal parasite preventative. It is a pill like Comfortis and it is our hottest seller. Trifexis requires a prescription.
Advantage Multi is a topical solution. It is a combination flea treatment, heartworm preventative, and hookworm, roundworm, whipworm treatment. Multi requires a prescription.
Cats
Advantage II continues to be a great product for once-a-month topical flea prevention and treatment for cats. It kills fleas within 12 hours of application and controls flea infestations. No prescription is required.
Advantage Multi is Bayer's premium once-a-month topical designed for cats. It is a combination flea treatment, heartworm preventative, and hookworm, roundworm, whipworm treatment. Prescription required, your pet must have an annual exam to order.
Orders
At Thompson Animal Hospital, we operate a full-service, in-house pharmacy for your pet needs. In order to efficiently process requests for prescription medications and diets please allow several hours for your refills to be prepared for pick-up. In addition, an annual exam is needed to keep all prescriptions active.
Pickup
Telephone-Simply call in your prescription refill during office hours at 863 648-4886.Email- send your name, pets name, prescription and phone number. We will call you if there is a question. Prescription will be ready next day or sooner. Email Link.
Delivery
Send us an email with your medication request. We will happily mail your prescription at no extra charge. Be sure to include a phone number so we can get payment info. Your delivery should be received between 5-7 business days. Offer also good on Royal Canin and Purina diets. Sorry, not available for Hills Science and Prescription Diets. Email Link
