First of All: No Pet Insurance is Perfect
That being said, pet insurance can help you through your most difficult times with your pet. There are alot of pet insurance companies out there. We have tried to find the important features, and the policies we like the best at this time.
Important Features To Look For In Pet Insurance
- coverage for illness and injuries*
- no annual limit
- no lifetime limit
- no limit per incident
*What is important is to cover illness and injuries including heriditary and congenital disorders. Also important are policies with no annual limit, no lifetime limit and no limit per incident.
What we do not believe is as important in a policy is wellness coverage. This adds cost to your policy which could be budgeted for instead of included in your premium cost.
