History
Since 1993, Dr. Thompson has specialized in exotic pets. We treat exotic mammals including bunnies, prairie dogs, guinea pigs and hedge hogs. We also treat reptiles and amphibians such as snakes, geckos, frogs and turtles. We are a member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians.
Services
We schedule a full half hour for each initial exotic visit. Typically this time is necessary to review important animal husbandry issues with the various species.
Frequent services include:
- blood chemistry's
- sexing
- teeth trimming
- vitamin injections
- antibiotic injections
- radiographs (xrays)
- surgery services
Iroc the Iguana was approximately 4 feet long after his tail was amputated.
